Boatie

Day for it? One score out of 10 from wind, swell, tide and your boat, whether you're fishing, cruising or diving. Tap it and Boatie shows you why, along with the best window today and the best day this week.

Tides and sea. Tide and sun times for your water and the week ahead, and they work with no signal.

Ramps and fuel. Boat ramps and fuel stops around the coast, on the map and in a list, with your own marks alongside them.

Trips and spots. Record trips with GPS, even with the screen locked. Save your spots, log your catch with a photo and tell someone where you're going in one tap.

Your boat, sorted. Rego, WOF, insurance, flares and servicing reminders so nothing lapses, one To do list for every job on the boat, and engine hours, gear and photos in one place.

Rules. NZ boating rules and fishing limits in plain English, each with the date we last checked it and a link to the source.

Emergency, one tap away. 111, Coastguard *500, your position and a Mayday script. It stays open to everyone, subscription or not.

Yours alone. There's no account to set up, and no ads or tracking. Your stuff stays on your phone and in your own iCloud, nobody else's.
